The golf course:

The result of this environment sensitivity is an unusual scenic golf course that is reminiscent of the Carolinas. Towering, soft pines combined with beautiful natural color highlight the 512 acre community. The land, in fact, was so richly forested , it yielded more than 2, 000 pines for transplanting as a buffer along a two mile berm on the western perimeter.

But Cobblestone is more than a beautiful nature walk, as anyone who has played the course will tell you. It is also one of the relatively few courses in Florida with greens built strictly to USGA standards, full of strategic challenges inspired by many of the famous links courses of the northeast. To alert players of what to expect, each hole is descriptively named according to its most unique feature. “Choices”, “Bridges”, and “Tiers”, for example, give fair warning of the challenge ahead.

Undoubtedly, Cobbelstone’s biggest attraction is their limited membership policy. Because it will have far fewer members than most country clubs, the course will remain uncrowded, offering members the luxury of leisurely play, and the opportunity to pursue their favorite sport at their convenience. The Lodge:

Stay in one of our four private suites, each with two double beds, TV, private phone, mini bar, and oversized bathrooms. The great Room area features a fully equipped eat-in-kitchen, mahogany bar, card table, and pool table. After a great day of golf, relax in a roomy Jacuzzi on the deck that overlooks the beautiful 9th hole and 1st tee.

Our cottage which adjoins The Lodge, has a private kitchen, living and bedroom area, and a private enclosed porch.

The living area features a large sitting area with TV and bar, pool table, card tables, dining area, and eat-in-kitchen ‘the Lodge” offers four private suites all with two double beds, television and bath. An enclosed porch with large jacuzzi overlooks the beautiful 9th green and the 1st tee. “the cottage” adjoining the Lodge offers a sitting area with TV, bedrooms, kitchen, bath and enclosed porch.
