Lodge Scotland 6137 is a superbly equipped and well constructed chalet-style property which prvides single floor detached accommodation on the edge of a deer park.
The lodge us surrounded by a 50 acre Caledonia pine forest set at the end of a private drive (with one other house). Lying on a ridge, there are brethtaking views bteween the trees across to Cromarty Firth.
Guests can enjoy walks through the forest from the front door to a trout loch, savoring regular sightings of red deer and rare black fallow deer along the way.
The nearest pubs and shops are in the historic fishing village of Cromarty, 4 miles away on the northern tip of Black Isle. Inverness, 30 minutes away, has a choise of large supermarkets and Dalcross Airpost offering car hire facilities. Golf (pay and play) is at Fortrose, 3 miles away. Muir of Ord, the start of the Scotish distillery route, is half an hour away. Boat tours are locally organized throughout the summer months when dolphins visit the Cromarty Firth.
