THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PRIVATE ISLAND HOME IN THE WORLD
There are few unspoiled places left in the world and fewer still that are a single plane trip away.
The privately owned island, in the heart of the Bahamas, is one such place. Not only does the oasis of beauty and tranquility serve guest parties up to 12 people with its own landing strip, private harbor and sea plane ramp, but its subtropical gardens and white sandy beaches are surrounded by some of the cleanest and most beautiful seas in the world.
Developed in the 1930s, the 93 acre island has become a lush paradise for exotic birds, butterflies, turtles and the lucky few.
The main residence of the main house and its two guest houses have the relaxed atmosphere that can only be found in a family home. Ceiling fans gently whirl to the accompaniment of cicadas in the gardens outside. Beachcomber collections of coral and shells decorate the bedrooms along the vases of freshly picked bougainvillea and mimosa. Yet, despite its informal and unpretentious character, the private island offers the service, amenities and cuisine of a fine hotel.
Delicious meals will be prepared by the fully qualified resident chef. Fine wines accompany every meal. The choice is yours to pre-plan your menus before you arrived, or simply let our chef surprise you. Choose when you wish to eat and dress as formally or informally as you like.
Flat Screen Television, VCR, DVD, satellite, and stereo system and air condition in each house. Telephone and fax communications are available for those who choose not to leave the outside world completely behind. For those who want to visit casinos and enjoy duty-free shopping, Nassau and Paradise island are only 15 minutes away by plane.
Here you can take each day as it comes. It’s your own kingdom. Be as active or relaxed s you feel. Work up an appetite on the all-weather tennis court, snorkel all morning over coral reefs teeming with marine life and water ski across glass seas.
Sail or windsurf to your heart’s content, bonefish on world-class flats, or fish the nearby deep water for blue marlin, dolphin, and tuna.
This is a place where time stands still. Lie in a hammock and red a book from our library, or set up an easel overlooking garden full of peacocks and flamingos. Sit and watch butterflies and hummingbirds sip the nectar from hibiscus. The palm fringed beached provide the greatest privilege of all, the chance to enjoy the endless bounty of the Bahamian sun in complete, uninterrupted peace.
Romance is everywhere here. At sunset, watch the sun sink through magenta skies into the darkening sea. At night, sweet tropical breezes blow softly through the open windows. True romantics can renew their vows, or begin their married lives in the Island’s church. Hold your reception on the beach and invite only your very closest friends to celebrate with you.
This is a magical place. Come and see it for yourself. You’ve left your mark on the world, it’s time to leave your footprints in the sand.
