One of the largest and most glamorous homes in the Caribbean on 17 seaside acres, Jamaica Castle 4481 is located on a breathtaking site, a peninsula in Port Antonio with panoramic views of bay, ocean, gardens and mountains.

Consists of eight bedrooms, eight private baths, for up to 16 guests.

This unique castle has a ballroom, banquet hall, two living rooms, library, music room, bar, terraces, and courtyard.

Staffed by a retinue of eight full-time servant. includes: chef, butler, chambermaids, waiters, gardeners, laundress and gatehouse guard.

Weddings at the Castle can also be arranged. On its grounds in a wooded glade is a private chapel for dreamlike weddings.

On 17 seaside acres, one of the largest private homes in the Caribbean and a frequent playground of international celebrities.

The building’s style is influenced by European taste, although it also reflects the traditional architecture of Jamaica’s great houses.

The main hall, with it’s epic 47-foot ceiling and black-and-white checkerboard, is a double-cube, considered the perfect proportions for a reception room and is known as one of the best acoustically designed music hall in Jamaica.  It has hosted several classical and jazz concerts, including numerous  unforgettable parties.

The Dining Hall is a glorious columned room adorned with botanical friezes and crowned by a rare Baccarat chandelier, with the longest, formal, dining table in Jamaica; it can comfortably seat 26 persons. Various Jamaican fruit, flowers and birds decorate the grand tray ceiling.

The Library offers books, telephone and TV, all available in this warm and comfortable studio beside the dining room.

The Drawing Room is also beautifully decorated in plaster work. The piano is a Broadwood, built in approximately 1850 in London. This manufacture was the choice for German composer, Ludwig Von Beethoven.

Last but not least an original round kitchen is available for our guests. Also a huge ice maker-machine is always ready for hundreds of ice cocktails.

Eight bedroom suites, each with own private bath, accommodates a total of 16 guests in this fairytale atmosphere. French lace, Persian rugs, silks and brocades are among the beautiful and exotic interior textures.

Passing the fountain you can visit the first two bedrooms located at the main floor, the White and the Pink room.

The White Room overlooks the pool side and naturally the ocean.

The Pink Room's wall of the bathroom boasts a most unusual mural which is the artist’s conception of a “stairway to heaven”. The painting gives the 3-dimensional illusion of steps leading up into the sky.

The Master bedroom on the upper floor is 32 feet by 28 feet with a 17-foot high ceiling and a sea front balcony that runs the full length of the room.

The Princess Bedroom is located on the second floor in the Main Tower area. This is a round room giving it a very unique ambiance and feel.

The Tower Room on the 3rd floor offers a private terrace with the most magnificent view of all the rooms.

The Wicker room is located on the 3rd floor in the Main Tower area. All the windows are overlooking at the ocean and offer to the visitors a spectacular view.

Among the fascinations of the Castle are its multiple staircases, passages, balconies, lookouts and parapets. Its design brilliantly captures the panoramic drama of the 7,400 foot peak of the Blue Mountains to the south as well as sunrises, sunsets and the endless sea.

Just outside, the casual bar and lounge (also suitable for conferences) are the private pool and croquet lawn. Not far beyond is the helicopter pad.

The pool is located at the east of the castle, all surrounded by a white balcony overlooking the ocean.

The chapel, located in the middle of the park, can seat up to twenty-five persons and is used for weddings and  may be visited by anyone wanting a quiet moment for the soul.

Amenities include: Sound system, CD library, satellite television, private chapel, private 30' X 55' private swimming pool.

The castle is situated waterfront, it sits on a small ridge, the shore is rocky, so there is no swimming area right in front of the castle.

There is a beautiful beach that belongs to a small boutique hotel on the same property, about 800 mt from the castle. Guests of the castle also have free access to the beach and hotel facilities. The hotel offers also a fine bar and restaurant.

There are also several beautiful beaches all around the area, not far from the castle.

DISTANCES: 13 minute Helicopter flight from Kingston; 45 minute Helicopter flight from Montego Bay; 2 1/2 hour drive from Kingston; 4 1/2 hour drive from Montego Bay Airport, 8 minute drive from Port Antonio Airport. 2 miles away one can find water sports, deep-sea fishing, sailboat charters, snorkelling, diving, river rafting, etc. And golf is very nearby as well.
