Bahamas Private Island Resort 20124 is a 96 acre private island hideaway with three miles of sugar soft sandy beach stretching along its eastern shore just off the coast of Andros Island.

This barrier island is accessible only by our own private ferry or seaplane.

On the island there are 17 Guest Rooms available, spread out within shared villas and private villas. There are 4 Marina Rooms, 5 Cottage Suites, a 1 Bedroom Villa, two 2 Bedroom Villa and a 3 Bedroom Villa.

Offering a variety of uniquely exquisite accommodations. Complete villa suites as well as intimate cottage suites built from native stone and featuring Indonesian furniture.

With inviting verandas, 20 foot wood beam ceilings, large bathrooms that include brass fixtures and oversized soaking tubs or showers with ocean views, air conditioning, rows of French doors draped with muslin curtains all with the ocean at your doorstep.

Every villa or cottage suite is private and secluded yet with miles of exclusive beach that beckons the beachcomber.

All rooms include hairdryers, shampoo and amenities, plush bathrobes, insulated ice buckets, and a stereo CD system (a selection of CD's are available in your room or at the main office). Safes.

Additionally, they provide an in-room, complimentary food and beverage bar with a selection of cheese, crackers, fruit, coffee, tea, fresh milk, sodas, beer, juice and bottled water. The 4 Marina Rooms are unique cottages that overlook the marina. Each complete with a spacious bedroom and shower room. These accommodations are nearest to the main office and “Great House” for easy access to all of the wonderful amenities for which the island is famous.

The 5 beach side octagonal cottage suites all feature a large bedroom with muslin curtains, French doors encompassing three sides that open to reveal your own expansive ocean view. Designed for absolute privacy, these suites are perfect for comfort and seclusion. Laze in a comfortable lounge chair and watch the pristine ocean surf caress our shores. 2 of these octagonal cottage suites are actually situated very close together, which makes them particularly suitable for couples traveling together or families.

The premium 1 bedroom villa suite includes a separate cozy sitting room, a large wet bar, a Roman soaking tub with shower, a spacious living room, a kitchenette and a wrap around covered verandah that overlooks the beach. It’s the perfect honeymoon villa that also works well for a small family.

The two 2 bedroom beach front villa suites. Each have large central living rooms, three full baths with soaking tubs, wet bars and kitchenettes. Elegantly furnished and decorated in Old-World charm, these villas are ideal for families or two couples. Each one has its own private entrance with a connecting door (lockable from both sides) allowing access to the adjoining room – perfect for families or groups of friends. As with all of the beach accommodations, breathtaking views and cooling sea breezes are a highlight.

The distinctive 3 bedroom thatched roof villa is perched on the highest point of the island. With marvelous views of the glistening ocean unfolding over the beach adjacent to the villa while the tidal waters from Blanket Sound provide a calming soundtrack in your secluded hideaway. Native stone has been used in each bedroom adding warmth while natural pine tree trunks serve as support columns for the four pavilions that comprise this villa. Each ocean side room is surrounded by large verandahs, while a separate patio affords the perfect vantage point for enjoying the stunning Bahamian sunsets. A second large back patio deck is the perfect spot for a light meal or to enjoy the Caribbean nights. The creek side room offers a large soaking bathtub with expansive sea views. This villa is the epitome of an enchanted fantasy island and is the perfect blend of romance, elegance and adventure.

Adjacent to the beach and encircled with majestic Silver Coconut Palms and expansive seagrape trees, is the island’s freshwater swimming pool. Perfect for a day of sunning and refreshing dips. With comfortable lounge chairs, fluffy beach towels, spectacular ocean views and beverages at hand in the adjoining Tiki Bar; days spent by the pool at here will surely be memorable.

The Tiki Bar is a wonderful spot to base your beach, pool or evening activities. With its fully stocked bar and captivating island music, you will be lured into the thatch roofed hut and inspired to relax.

The Spa is a perfect refuge from the fast-paced, high stress world of today -- a place to concentrate on restoring and rejuvenating body, mind and soul. The experienced Spa team will personalise a unique package of treatments to ensure you receive maximum benefit and complete relaxation from every visit. The Great House is a perfect place to rendezvous for meals, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and tales of the day’s adventures. This gathering place, with its inviting wrap-around verandah, is tastefully decorated with art, antiques, and a collection of Bahamian furnishings including comfortable oversized furniture. Enjoy the Great House, built in 19th century British tradition, and relax with a glass of wine while drinking in the tranquilizing panoramic view of the Caribbean.

Meals on the island are always a special event. The menu features Caribbean cuisine incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and other local delicacies. These candlelit meals are carefully prepared and elegantly presented by an attentive staff. After dinner, gently aged rum, cognac and vintage port help encourage good conversation and dramatic star gazing from the beach. Breakfasts are served made to order with freshly squeezed juices, home baked Bahamian bread and other delights. Lunches in the Great House will include refreshing salads, tropical fruit, delicious seafood and tempting deserts. Generous box lunches will help complete a perfect day on the water or a private picnic on the beach.

Elements permitting, they can host a Tiki torch, candlelit Bahamian beach banquet and BBQ weekly. This buffet is laden with delicious surf and turf selections accompanied by the local island twist on traditional dishes. These nights also feature a live “rake & scrape” band that plays infectious island melodies.

Activities include: Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, The Marina, Guided Tours, Eco Tours, Windsurfing and Sea Kayaks , Tennis, Fishing, Weddings and Honeymoons.

All reservation rates include all food, house wines, beer and liquor, use of snorkeling equipment, sea kayaks, tennis court on the island and a 50 ft freshwater swimming pool. House staff gratuities, room taxes, airport transfers, will be additional. Room rates do not include a required 14% tax and gratuity charge and a $38 per person, roundtrip transfer fee from Andros Town airport.  Transfers from San Andros airport require an additional $70 per booking. Additional activity fees are payable in advance upon booking and are nonrefundable (Tips are not included in the activity rates).

Bahamas Private Island Resort 20124 is an all inclusive private island resort located near Staniard Creek off the northeast coast of Andros Island in The Bahamas. A visit to here puts you in the center of the best diving, snorkeling, fishing and seclusion that a private Caribbean island vacation affords.

Located a 20 minute drive from the Andros Town Airport, which is serviced by charter or scheduled service from Nassau, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Then a short 5 minute boat ride over to the island. You may also be adventurous and charter a seaplane and taxi right up to the island’s dock.

Please note; Aside from the 17 rooms available throughout the island, there are 4 privately owned villas that also share the island. If renting exclusively the entire island, there may be the possibility of these privately owned villa owners staying at residence. They may remain completely private from any of the public areas. The island is rather quite large so chances are you would not see them.
