The swimming pool is set in a large paved border next to a beautifully equipped pool house containing a large dining room/kitchen with seating for 22, two changing rooms, a shower room and a separate wc.

The pool is heated up to 24°C free of charge. There is a charge of 750 Euros per week for it to be heated at a higher temperature; this is payable locally.

Living accommodation is contained within a Main House on two floors, a large wing Guest House on one floor and an independent Studio attached to the wing. Although access between the Main House and Guest House is external, one has an entrance adjacent to the other, allowing easy access from the latter to the independent shower room and first floor bathroom in the former.

The interiors are of a high standard and very comfortably furnished, and are ideal for a large group.

The Main House has very spacious living areas and a modern fully fitted kitchen. The dining room table can seat up to 24 persons. The terrace outside the kitchen can seat up to 22 persons. A shower room, a separate wc and a laundry room are also on the ground floor. Study.

All the bedrooms are on the first floor and all (except one double with an additional single bed) and have either en suite bathroom facilities or a washbasin. Due to the antique furnishings in this part of the property, it is requested that extra care be taken, particularly with small children.

There are 3 bathrooms with wc, 1 shower room, 1 separate wc, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed.

The house has an alarm system.

The Guest House is on a single level with access directly into the attractive small living/dining area, with a modern kitchen corner served by a corridor opening onto 3 comfortable double bedrooms, and 1 twin bedroom, a bathroom with a separate shower, and a separate wc.

The Studio features an original bread oven and exposed beams with a living/dining area. It contains one double bed, one double sofabed, a small basic kitchen, a shower room with a wc, and a mezzanine with additional bedding for up to 4 children.

Situated in northwestern Vendée, in Pays de la Loire area. 45km south of Nantes. There are basic shops in the nearby village (2.5km) and a larger selection of shops, a market 3 days weekly, supermarkets and services at Challans (8km) as well as bike hire and karting.

There are many very good restaurants both in the village and at Challans and many local fairs and festivals.

Horse riding is possible at Le Molin (5km) and sailing, surfing, water-skiing and wind-carting at St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (35km) and St-Jean-de-Monts (25km).

There are various good 18 hole golf courses within 25km and 60km.

There are beautiful sandy beaches all along the Atlantic coast with the closest at St-Jean-de-Monts, St-Hilaire-de-Riez (32km) and St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
