This seaside manor house was built around 1850 and is set in extensive grounds on the outskirts of Dinard. From the steeply sloping garden, steps lead down to a beach (this walkway may be too steep for some but there is another beach within five minutesí walk). On the other side of the house there is a large area of lawn with plenty of trees for shade. The house has been restored and furnished with taste and character and captures the atmosphere of another era. The rooms are large and welcoming and the view from the bay window in the drawing room is parallel to none. There is a cosy, panelled TV room and a unique winter garden where plants abound. The kitchen is traditional in style and convivial with its vast and attractive blue and white tiled table. All of the imaginatively decorated bedrooms have charm and comfort; all except two have a washbasin, most have sea views. There is one shower room and two bathrooms. Only a few kilometres from the ferry at St Malo, the area is blessed with marvelous beaches and a choice of water sports. Those with gastronomy in mind should take the wonderful boat restaurant up the estuary of the Rance to appreciate its breathtaking scenery, whilst sampling local seafood. Accommodates 12.
