This magnificent structure was built for a Prince’s leisure on the ancient Appia Road which is forbidden to cars - a 20 min. bike ride will take you to center of the eternal city of Rome at the Caracalla baths. The peaceful road is lined with beautiful Roman ruins facing your direction. Remnants of a Roman temple are located just out of the villa, brilliantly outlined by the spectacular sunsets.
The Villa is composed of a lower level where gorgeous marble salons with two fireplaces, a piano and lunch rooms provide wide spaces for relaxed conversation. All the rooms have wide windows opening to the vast surrounding garden and views. On the same level there is a lovely kitchen, and excellent chefs can be provided for nice, relaxing dinners.
The beautiful stairs bring you to the first floor where there are three suites (a sleeping room, plus bathroom with a room for your clothes), and two double rooms. All the rooms have been recently restored and have the feeling and the look of a 5 star plus hotel. The two main double sleeping rooms enjoy wide balconies where one can take in the exquisite scenery. On the second floor there are extra rooms that can be used as office or meeting rooms.
The Villa is surrounded by a wide park (three acres of grass plus many more acres around it). The typical high Mediterranean pine trees provide cool shade. There is a very large and beautiful swimming pool, a (25x10 meters), a fountain and a tennis court. Horseback riding in the country side is available and horses may come up to the villa.
There is a full service staff of four which includes a cook who works full-time at the estate.
This romantic villa is also suitable for catered weddings, banquets, receptions, ceremonies, conferences, presentations, fashion shows, concerts, art and photography shows. It has 3 suites which sleep 10, but can accomodate an inside party of 170, and an outside garden party of 2,000 people.
