Meribel Chalet 9078 was built to high specifications during the summer of 2000 and this year has undergone a stunning interior transformation.
Located in the exclusive Brâmes enclave, it is perched over the valley with fabulous views of Mont Vallon. The Chalet is bright and airy with light streaming in from the huge picture windows.
The chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five twin and double bedrooms, each with its own balcony, ensuite bathroom and plasma screen with dvd. It is furnished in chic Alpine style with traditional touches blending well with more contemporary pieces. The use of vast honey-coloured timbers contrasts wonderfully with walls of creamy white and exposed stone.
Considered a family chalets, not only does it have a large selection of books, toys, games and films, but it also has a complimentary au pair during peak weeks, in addition to the normal team of staff.
The drawing room is the main focus of the interior, overlooked by a galleried study with telephone and internet facilities should you need to keep in touch while away. New for this year is a massage room to sooth aching muscles after a day on the slopes.
Outside, it is the fabulous heated swimming pool (shared with Meribel Chalet 9077) and the chalet’s hot tub that attract many of our guests. Situated on an expansive south-facing terrace, the pool is kept deliciously warm, and it is a magical spot after a day on the slopes. Loved by adults and children alike, it comes with an entertaining selection of pool toys. In the evenings there are not many locations that can beat it for a barbecue prepared by the in-house chef, washed down with a glass or two of chilled Veuve Clicquot.
The chalet can be booked as a stand - alone chalet, or with its adjoining neighbour Meribel Chalet 9077 should your party be larger than ten guests.

Lying at the heart of the largest inter-connected ski area in the world, Méribel is a resort in a league of its own. It is undoubtedly the prettiest village in Les Trois Vallées and is an excellent base from which all levels of skier can explore over 600km of piste. Stretching from the fashionable Courchevel to the high altitude skiing of Val Thorens, the domain offers an unrivalled expanse and variety of slopes, all covered by one ski pass. With the best lift system to be found anywhere, you can ski in all three valleys in a single day without ever having to remove your skis.
The charming Savoyard village has an abundance of shops and bars and a wide range of mountain restaurants offer excellent venues for lunch. Many of these can easily be reached by non skiers. As an alternative to the slopes, Méribel offers countless other activities making this an enduringly popular resort to which families and friends return year after year.
