Dating back to the 17th century, this villa was once a bishop’s residence and is surrounded by private gardens with stunning views towards the Apuan Alps and across the valley of Camaiore towards the beach resorts of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.
It was fully restored several years ago to become a truly enchanting home of character and charm with 5 bedrooms all with modern en-suite bath and shower facilities for between 9-10 guests.  It is fully heated and air-conditioned and is available for private rental year round.

On the Ground Floor there is a staircase leading to the first floor, a laundry/service room and the staff accommodations.

On the First Floor there is a fully equipped kitchen opening out to an open plan area comprising of a dining room, drawing room with music system and a lounge centered around a magnificent marble fireplace.

A doorway leads out down the stone staircase towards the entrance gate and front gardens.

There is a side door leading onto a long sun terrace where breakfast is served each morning and down stairs to the gazebo and swimming pool gardens.

On this floor is also a half bathroom. There is a main internal staircase leading to the second floor as well as a smaller private second staircase leading to an en-suite guestroom.

On the Second Floor is the Master suite with bath/shower and dressing room en-suite with office area equipped with telephone and fax.

A further twin or double bedroom with its own bathroom and private staircase which can also be adjoining to the master suite.

On the Third Floor is an open plan central TV lounge with satellite TV, DVD, video, and music system with small kitchen and dining area. A single bedroom with en-suite bathroom at the top of the stairs. A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. A further double or twin bedroom with e-suite bathroom. There is also a living area on the Top Floor.

Outdoor facilities include flood-lit swimming pool, Italian Gazebo, and a Sun Terrace.

Included in the standard weekly rental rate is a housekeeper and a chef who provide general housekeeping duties which include servicing the bedrooms and ground floor reception rooms each day as well as providing meal service as required, 6 days per week. The chef is available for breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day and also provides a grocery shopping service.  Please note all food and beverage for meals other than breakfast are at an additional cost and charged direct to the client.  A gardener looks after the grounds and swimming pool maintenance.  An all-inclusive package is also available comprising chef, meals and wine/beverages, transport, wine & cheese tasting, massage, etc.
