England Castle 9684 sits dramatically in the foothills of the Malvern Hills and is surrounded by its own 5000 acre unspoilt and sporting estate.
The Castle is well situated close to the Cotswolds and Shakespeare country and has 11 beautiful guest bedrooms (5 with four poster beds) and 8 bathrooms as well as some of the most splendidly decorated and ornate reception rooms to be found anywhere in private hands. Considered a comfortable family home, just as suitable for small groups, large corporate events or as one of the most romantic settings ever for a wedding.
The Castle has undergone a triumphant renaissance in recent years and many of it’s treasures are now displayed for the first time, against a backdrop of richly decorated Italianate and Gothic splendor.
There are eleven exquisite guest bedrooms in the castle, individually designed with great style by the current owners, making the experience of staying here as comfortable as possible.
The pleasure of color, taste and texture extends to the delicious cuisine, made with the best fresh local produce and served with excellent wines and Malvern Spring water.
There are endless possibilities at this Castle for a variety of corporate activities using the Estate as a backdrop to the vast range of outdoor opportunities. Events for Raliegh, British Airways Holdings, TDH and other top International Companies have used this Estate as the base for events from team building, trust building interventions, sales and marketing and smaller conferences, Board Meetings and mergers and takeovers.
Built by Lord Somers in 1812, the castle has remained in the same family and is now the stately home of the Hervey-Bathurst family who ensure that guests receive a warm welcome, impeccable service and complete privacy whilst staying as their guests.
The castle grounds contain a famous arboretum of spectacular, rare trees descending to a 22 acre lake. The Deer Park beyond, on the western slopes of the Malverns has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest within the local 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
Surrounded by a private estate of 5,000 acres of agricultural and sporting ground and within only 10 minutes of the M50, the Castle is in a very desirable location and venue.
