This villa lies in the hills of the Chianti Classico area, between Greve and Panzano, and from there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the renaissance villa at Vignamaggio and of the superb countryside leading down the hill towards the town of Greve in Chianti.
During the renovation work they were careful to preserve the original architectural features, and the furnishings are in classical tuscan style. This villa dates back to the late 1500s and the pretty de-consecrated chapel next to it was built at the same time.
The ground floor has a frescoed living-room with dining area and fireplace, kitchen with dishwasher and washing-machine, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, large covered patio furnished with tables and chairs for dining outside - in the colder months it becomes a winter garden.
The first floor has four bedrooms, of which two are doubles and two are twins with three bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms are en-suite with the bedrooms and the other is shared as one of the twins can use the bathroom in one of the other bedrooms. In the loft is a space suitable for children. Two of the bedrooms have access to a small terrace with a beautiful view over the countryside.
The property is equipped with dishwasher, washing-machine, satellite-TV and stereo with CD player. On the premises you can order extra cleaning during the week or ask for someone to cook for you in the evening. In the garden, along with relaxation areas, there is also a private swimming-pool (5x8m) (partly interred) looking towards the valley.
The villa is reached along about 2 kms of untarred road and lies on its own in a tranquil spot. At the rear of the house, with a completely separate entrance, lives a local family, and the owners live in a house not far away.
