Rome Villa 9880 is located in the world’s most famous part of Roma known as Via Appia.

Of all the roads that led to Rome, Via Appia Antica, built in 312 BC, was the most famous.

This road eventually stretched all the way from Rome to the seaport of Brindisi, through which trade with the colonies in Greece and the East were channeled.

This is the most exclusive area of the Antique city, known for its beautiful and huge private gardens and parks. Via Appia is like an open museum with all of it’s archeological sites.

The entrance to this magnificent Villa is on a small street, with a first closed gate only for the residents, the property has a second gate with code and also the housekeeper lives on the premises. We guarentee total privacy and security for guests.

This house is extremely elegant with different art collections and a high level of comforts, made through small but very important details; such as the linens, the house service, and the equipement.

The owner is always improving the installations in general and just added a wifi connection for Internet. So it is now possible for you to do some office work in the garden with a view of Roma.

The entire park is landscaped with different walks or sitting or dining areas. In front and on the left of the house there is a spacious dining terrace and lounge area with many sofas. Still on the right of the park, there is another terrace for dining out in the middle of the pine trees with a nice view of Rome and the surroundings.

From there, you can walk trough the garden, pass the rose pergola, and arrive to the pool area with deck chairs, with another covered dining area for up to 20 persons. From this level of the garden you can go direclty into the house to the sauna, hamam, jacuzzi, pool shower, and exercise training room .

At the end of the garden, there is a beautiful private marbled chapel, and just behind that there is a children’s play area.

From the main hall entrance one walks through the corridor to the main lounge, that has on the left side the first TV and HiFi Stereo lounge with sofas. Followed by the dining room for up to 14 persons.

On the right side there is the fireplace lounge and a playing table overlooking the garden. From this part of the lounge there are double doors opening onto the library.

There is a direct access to the terrace and garden from all the lounges.

Back to the corridor and to the right there are the guests toilets, followed by the first double bedroom with a lounge, this room opens the terrace and garden.

On this floor is also a professional kitchen fully equipped, and able to prepare meals for up to 40 persons easily. The laundry room is located outside and behind the house.

On the First floor there is a staircase that leads to the First floor hall, there is also a second entrance for the house, which goes directly to the first floor here as well.

On the right there is a single bedroom with bathroom with shower WC. Equipped with telephone and a computer.

At the end of the corridor there is a vast bedroom suite with seating area, dressing room and bathroom. Equipped with telephone.

On the same floor is the Master Bedroom with a private terrace for breakfast, a dressing room and the bathroom with WC. This room also opens onto the terrace. This terrace offers direct access to the garden. The Master Bedroom is equipped with Plasma télévision, DVD, VCR, HiFi system., and telephone.

There is also second double bedroom with dressing room, bathroom, télévision, telephone.

Still off the hall is another staircase leading to the children’s wing with 4 single beds in two rooms and a bathroom with WC.

There is also a special excercise room with training room, shower, jacuzzi sauna, and haman. The Gym opens on to the swimming pool directly.

On the Second floor there is a bedroom suite with living room. The bedroom is equipped with télévision, telephone and bathroom ensuite.

This exceptional property is located in the world famous part of Roma called Via Appia. According to Christian tradition, it was along the Appian Way that an escaping Peter encountered the vision of Christ, causing him to go back into the city to face subsequent martyrdom.

The road's initial stretch in Rome is lined with the great monuments and ancient tombs of patrician Roman families, burials were forbidden within the city walls as early as the 5th century B.C., because of this, beneath the surface, miles of tunnels were hewned out of the soft tufa stone.

The most impressive is the Tomb of Cecilia Metella, within walking distance of the catacombs. The cylindrical tomb honors the wife of one of Julius Caesar's military commanders from the Republican era. Why such an elaborate tomb for such an unimportant person in history? Cecilia Metella happened to be singled out for enduring fame because her tomb has remained and the others have decayed.
